This was the year I stopped uploading to TLKFAA in favor of DeviantART/Fur Affinity.
This feels like the time I was truly figuring out my own style.
Sketch. For a friend. A strange Kiba-inspired design. I remember being very fond of this one. Strange design and pose. Butt scootin' Strangely thin. Alt ego? Bro? idk. Weird anime eyes. Kiba sona is odd. Chell from Portal as an anthro. I used something other than MS Paint!

2008

This was the year I first started learning HTML & Dreamweaver and I was working on a Pokémon fansite!
I spent a lot of time online and drawing.
Horrifying. What's with the lashes tho? I was figuring things out with shading/highlights. Cute art for someone else. My fursona became a ninja for a while. Always with the sad lions. Highlights are cool tho. Some kind of Kakashi-inspired OC lol. First time? Sona rocking the 2 headbands cause that makes you cooler. I think this is supposed to be FMA-related. Ode to the cringe. The first and only time I tried a different color for my sona. 1 less headband, but some weird ass boot things. Neji lion. Better than my previous attempt. The file name was 'Female Raikou' and I'm not sure why.

2007

It's more apparent looking back at this year that I made some of the biggest strides in improving.
I have a lot of work from this year; I was drawing all the time and it shows.
This was also the year I discovered anime and went to my first convention.
First picture I uploaded to TLKFAA in '07. Edgy. I loved drawing characters standing on rocks. There will be more. Moody moonlight. I absolutely adored this guy. Still one of my favs. My entire world was Fullmetal Alchemist for a loooong time. Awkward pose. At least I tried shading? This was originally posted alongside the lyrics to Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls lmao. I made a few animated gifs. Cuuuute.

2006

This was the year I got my first Wacom drawing tablet.
The shift to digital art always comes with lots of growing pains.
An interesting and new way to color. You can tell I tried sketching first, and maybe used layers. Scar

2005

This was when I first started to have mostly unrestricted internet access on the home PC.
I found TLKFAA and Lilymud (RIP) and spent hours browsing, posting, and chatting everyday.
Truly a magical way to grow up online.
